welcome!

hi everyone!  my name is dexter!  today i'm 11 days old and my mommy and daddy thought it was time for me to enter one of the biggest forms of today's communication mediums - the blogosphere!  i am happy to be adding my biological and technological distinctiveness to the internet.  (star trek joke.  mommy and daddy probably watched way too much star trek:  voyager while i was in utero.)

so, back to my new blog.  i will try to update when i'm not eating or sleeping.  those things take up most of my time, but i will try to stay on top of things.  mommy and daddy said they would help me too, to put pictures up and maybe fill in as guest posters once in a while.   so stay tuned for more updates!

Dexter's first photo shoot

Today Aunt Sara came over and gave Dex his first photo shoot!  He wasn't too pleased about having to pose and it took FOREVER to get a few good photos out of him.  Many of the proofs feature his cry face.  But Sara did manage to get a few FANTASTIC photos!  Then she graciously spent hours editing them (in between doing work on her own new house!).  Here are a few of our favorites...
