Dexter's 4 month appointment

Dexter: 3 months

Dexter turned 4 months old last week-ish on the 17th. I honestly CANNOT BELIEVE it has been that long! His four month appointment was pretty uneventful (as usual) because he is the perfect baby. How can we have any questions for the pediatrician besides "How did our baby get so perfect?" He got his shots again - this time 1 oral vaccine and three shots. It is so sad because you want to warn him what's coming, but you can't. Two nurses came in and simultaneously gave the shots, so it wasn't too prolonged, but Dexter did cry a little bit. Some time with Daddy cured it all though! And again, we were amazed by Dexter's stats, which are as follows:

Weight: 17lbs, 11oz (95th %ile) Almost double his birthweight!
Height: 27" (above 95th %ile)
and Head Circumference: I forgot the measurement (But maybe will add it in later with the magic of the internet) but it was 60th %ile.

And in conclusion: Big body, little head, perfect baby.

He's sucking on his fists and anything he can put in his mouth, but we can't find any teeth emerging yet, and neither could the pediatrician. But it's a little early anyway. Also, Dexter's not rolling over yet either, but that's not too abnormal these days either since the "Back to Sleep" campaign. He's really close though!

Lastly, and unrelatedly, the picture above is actually from Dexter's 3 month photoshoot with Aunt Sara and if his parents could get on their game they'd give her the pictures they like to edit! But I thought a post like this really needed a photo of a cute pudgy baby.
